One thing I really love about Keto is eating cheese but I really miss crackers. This recipe makes delicious and healthy keto crackers which are a perfect addition to snack time and so easy to make.
An amazing recipe for keto crackers
- 1/2 cup Sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup Sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup Pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup Linseeds (flax)
- 1 cup Chia seeds
- 1 cup Boiling water
- 2 tbsp Melted coconut oil You can use olive oil if you prefer
- 1 tbsp Salt and/or other flavours (thyme, chilli)
Mix your boiling water and melted coconut oil with all of the seeds in a large bowl
Wait until the mixture starts to gel together, about 5-10 minutes
Spread the mixture thinly across a lined baking tray
Cook in the oven at 145 degrees (295 Fahrenheit) for about an hour or until crunchy
- You can experiment with different flavours by using different herbs and spices
- After the mixture has been cooking for 15 mins it should be solid enough to take out and use a knife to cut up into cracker size. It will be a bit easier than when you do it at the end.
